PHENOL

Four-stage Hock production process results in the creation of Phenol. It constitutes an essential starting material for items within a multitude of markets. When mixed with formaldehyde Phenol can be a part of phenolic resins production. This constitutes the second-largest commercial application of this substance. Phenolic resins can be found in plywood, laminates, oriented strand boards, insulation materials, foundry moulds, adhesives and furniture. As the raw material, phenol can be found in caprolactam and adipic acid and used in the production of nylon intermediates. These then are found in engineering thermoplastics and synthetic fibres of clothing and carpets. Phenol and acetone are created together in a fixed ratio.

ACETONE

Acetone is commonly and commercially used for solvents. It is either an acetone solvent or acetone-based production of other solvents.

The second largest use of acetone for commercial purposes constitutes the manufacture of methyl methacrylate. Methyl Methacrylate serves in the production of poly methyl methacrylate resins, including acrylic sheets and compounds for moulding and extrusion. These can be found in the architectural and industrial sectors (retail: points of sale, glazing, decorative light panels). Lastly, acetone is the major component taking part in the production of bisphenol A.

AMS

AMS is chemically a similar substance to cumene or gasoline. It is a combustible liquid used as a modifier in the manufacture of heat-resistant ABS resins used in the automotive and electrical industries for the production of water heaters and other household equipment.
