PIA

PIA serves as a good coating because:

It can aid the production of high molecular weight polymers, which are perfect for hardness, flexibility, weather ability, and fast cure in waterborne, powder, and coil coatings;
It aids hydrolytic stability and therefore prolongs the shelf life of waterborne coatings;
It decreases dry times for high solids and traditional solvent-borne coatings.

In unsaturated polyester resins PIA:

Performs exceptionally well in diverse products, for example, industrial gratings, pipe remediation, gasoline and chemical storage tanks, ladder rails, structural automotive parts and boat hulls, watercraft protective coatings, and solid surfaces (functional and decorative);
Characterizes in ease of synthesis and fabrication in: pultrusion, sheet moulding compound (SMC), bulk moulding compound (BMC), hand lay-up and spray-up, castings, injection moulding, resin transfer moulding (RTM), reaction injection moulding (RIM), centrifugal casting, filament winding.

MAN

Maleic Anhydride (MAN) is an unsaturated, carboxylic substance of low molecular weight. We can find this clear and colourless molten substance in rail tank cars, tank trucks, and ISO (intermodal) tank containers.

TMA

TMA represents a trifunctional aromatic anhydride of a highly reactive nature. It forms products that perform well in high temperatures. Therefore, the most popular applications where we will find TMA are electrical wires and cable insulation. Other applications include automobile interiors (softness retention, elimination of fogging), appliance gaskets, and flat-roof membranes.

We can also find TMA in PVC medical products, such as haemodialysis tubing, neonatal care and blood platelet storage. Apart from the above, in our everyday life, TMA is in vinyl products, such as shower curtains or upholstery.
