Methanol (CH3OH) is a clear, water-soluble, and readily biodegradable liquid chemical composed of four parts hydrogen, one part oxygen, and one part carbon, making it the simplest alcohol.

Being formed of a part of a molecule (as opposed to the molecule itself), acetyls constitute a group of interesting petrochemical products.

Ammonia sulphate is the main component of the products used by the agricultural sector, such as fertilisers.
